I began my career in the construction and engineering industry, working in fast-paced environments where deadlines, responsibility, and performance were constant. Over time, I recognised how unmanaged stress and overlooked health habits quietly erode clarity, energy, and long-term effectiveness.

This real-world experience led me to integrate structured wellbeing systems, mindfulness, and behaviour-change methodologies alongside my technical background — forming the foundation of The Healthy Key.

About Sandra 

I arrived in London in 2012 determined to build a better future and entered the engineering and construction industry — a demanding, high-pressure environment shaped by tight deadlines, responsibility, and constant performance expectations. Over more than twelve years in technical and leadership roles, managing complex projects and leading teams as Head of CAD/BIM Engineering Consultancy, I repeatedly saw how unmanaged stress and neglected health habits quietly diminish clarity, drain energy, and weaken long-term effectiveness, even among highly capable professionals.

In 2018 I turned to yoga as a personal way to restore balance, and over time it evolved into a deeper professional commitment to wellbeing. I completed my yoga teacher training, qualified as a certified health coach and mental health first aider, and have since delivered more than 1,000 hours of classes and guided sessions. During this period I also collaborated with Hestia and NHS East London to facilitate mindfulness sessions, gaining practical insight into how simple, structured tools can meaningfully support people in real workplace and community settings. Along the way, I integrated additional evidence-informed techniques — including behaviour-change methodologies, breathwork, habit design, and complementary energy-based practices — always prioritising practical application over abstract theory.

Rather than stepping away from the technical world, I chose to unify both paths — combining engineering precision and systems thinking with holistic health, mindfulness, and behavioural structure into a grounded, practical approach. Today, through The Healthy Key, I partner with organisations, professionals, and individuals to reduce stress, restore clarity, and strengthen sustainable energy through structured, realistic methods that fit real work and real life — focusing on repeatable systems that protect performance over time rather than quick fixes or motivational slogans.
